It brings almost nothing to the table. An empty busywork section before you get to Giratina, a vastly downgraded Frontier from Emerald, no fixes to Sinnoh's terrible overworld, the Underground was utter shit, the game speed was still slow as molasses. It's the only third version that is unplayable in the modern day because of how badly made it is, going back to that game speed is impossible without an emulator.

Really, just improve its stats. I have a feeling its Mega will end up like Garchomp where they take something significant away from it or like Mega Absol where it's really outclassed by other Megas and so generally isn't worth using.
