funny story about ambipom actually. I ended up getting a level 100 aipom from the gtw back in gen 4. I know it was meant to be a troll, but back then i just laughed it off and actually liked the little guy. I'm not sure if its hated by Smogon, but I remember a lot of people hating it because almost every team had a Conkeldurr back in the BW days.
It's definetly hated by fans and the anime for some reason.
