My translation is that it was an interview with the director, Yajima, he talked on behalf of the staff about the process of the anime, explained specific moments, even compared it with Best Wishes, and at the end explained the kiss scene. He said that the staff had specific ideas to not let the kiss scene happen, but as the director he wanted to end it fair for Serena since she's tge first to have an obvious crush on Ash, that's why the kiss scene happened. Finally he explained he wanted to end it like that for the fans who WANT Serena and Ash to be a couple later, so they can be satisfied, but he NEVER stated that they ARE a couple or will canonicallh become one
