They really should. People complained about a lack of content in Sun and Moon, such as dungeons, caves, but don't realize that they couldn't even add in more of that stuff if they wanted to because the 3DS can't handle it

Also the game ran like pure trash.

you can connect the gen 4 games including hg/ss to transfer your pokemon. They're just copies of your pokemon, so they'll still be on the ds games. So if you're playing platinum, you can transfer both dialga and palkia into the game

Do you even play anything other than pokemon on your 3ds?
For what it is, it should not be a very demanding game. The problem is GF being shit at optimization and using extremely detailed models to save money on inproving them whenever they'll actually need such detail.
And no, adding a bit more content, even with the game being an unoptimized mess, wouldn't have been a problem. It's not like everything is always loaded into RAM and they had and they had at least another gigabyte of space to fit in more stuff.

I don't think any PBR fan would try to argue that there is a lot of content in PBR.

It's purely Pokemon battling in a handful of different formats, some of which are total gimmicks. That's a fact, I'm sure they've accepted that.

What they are praising and fondly remembering are the excellent graphics/animations for the time on Wii, and the fully voiced announcer.

Both of those elements really brought out something extra in the battles. The battles just felt more visceral and "big" seeing it in action and announced.

My bias PBR is literally infinite but this is all true. PBR definitely had less content than the stadium games, but it was still an amazing experience, especially since both my brothers and I all loved Pokemon so we played the absolute shit outta it.

I just want a PBR-esque game on switch, we have 3 generation waiting for this.

When I heard that they were going to have trainers in S&M I thought that meant they were going to do that again.
But the joke was on me apparently because Giratina is still a midget and the trainers only purpose seems to be so they can slow down the framerate and force you to buy a N3DS

I used it as my main way to battle since gen 4 online was slow as fuck and shoddy didn't support doubles. I liked that PBR didn't track your win/lose record or used any ranking system at all. No joke this is probably the main thing preventing me from playing online in mainline games nowadays (apart from lolcheaters). I get anxious as fuck when I land on a lose streak and have it rubbed into my face all the time, so I stop playing.

This is what upsets me the most. They don't react to what's going in the battle.

They don't call their pokemon back, they don't celebrate when they win, they don't jump when their pokemon gets hit.

All things that XD and PBR got right in a decade ago.

The biggest thing I want to return is the snazzy white pants from this game.
