Why don't Psychic types automatically win against any non-Dark

IT'S NO USE

I've always wondered how Psychic type attacks have accuracy, other than for gameplay balance obviously
Like if you're shooting some sort of beam or other projectile sure, but other than that I don't see how you could dodge an attack on your mind.

Psychic (the move) is described as a "strong telekinetic force" and it's called Psychokinesis in Japanese

It's more accurate to call most "Psychic" Pokemon psychokinetic rather than psychic, since most of them aren't capable of reading minds or anything of the sort, they just have telekinetic powers

Because Psychic powers aren't a free win button, and claiming it is is the equivalent of saying "I have muscles, so I could lift the pyramids because muscles exert force" or "I have a gun, so anything I can see is dead because guns kill people".

For fucks sake, people keep treating psychic powers like "OH NO HE HAS TELEPATHY HE CAN JUST MAKE ALL OF US FORGET HOW TO BREATHE" or "AH FUCK IT'S TELEKINESIS HE COULD JUST PUPPET US WITH INFINITE TELEKINETIC FORCE". Which is gross fan wank from people who lack the ability to think critically or even remotely.

Even worse when media supports this stupid bullshit. That gif, for instance. Pikachu can fire Thunderbolts from it's cheeks. It doesn't have to aim it's hands, feet or tail, just be looking in Kadabra's direction. Which it does. But no, it's gripped by the almighty telekinesis of a level 30-something Kadabra, it's no use.

Maybe not as powerful but in terms of psychic types that would do that malamar is definitely actually evil. Unlike most dark types that are more dicks or pranksters malamar is one of te few described as actually cruel. Had them the real power to do that they probably would do that stuff.

Well actually aside from Zen headbutt (which is a headbutt) and Psycho boost (which an miss because ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) all psychic type attacking moves have 100 accuracy, so that's sort of true.
