I was looking through the cards I had as a kid and I found these really old prototypes of a set that was never released. My dad worked at Wizards of the Coast which is how I got them.

He's Big.
>>31737249
Fireboy
>>31737261
Stinky. Pretty good for an Uncommon.

Is that card not just The Blob That Ate Everyone but with a Diglett?
>>31737275
Voltrode. This guy is outright broken.
>>31737286
Chubbichar. I'm not sure what makes him different from Charmander, the name would imply that he's a fatter version of Charmander but if anything he looks skinnier.
>>31737279
Uncanny resemblance for sure.
>>31737302
Millipod.
>>31737315
Diglettchan, some kind of hybrid of Diglett and Hitmonchan. I don't know what Nintendo was thinking.
>>31737334
Bulbafang, Bulbasaur with fangs. Except Bulbasaur already has fangs I guess.
>>31737346
Soddish.
>>31737354
Furblitz, I'm guessing this is some kind of ghost
>>31737372
Hydrone, this one's badass

Here's what the backs look like. I guess the set was going to be called Pokemon From Space. Note how the Poke Ball has a ring around it like a planet.
Here's one more, I'm not sure if it was supposed to be part of the same set or not. Krowzee. My dad told me that Shigeru Miyamoto himself cut the cards and Junichi Masuda taped them.
Seems legit
