Liepard is built more like a cheetah than a leopard, though. It's like how salandit/salazzle get their names from salamanders, but act more like lizards (live in dry areas with no fresh water, have claws [scratch], salazzle rears up on its hind legs and tail like a monitor). Same with the charmander line and salamence, and the doduo line who look like kiwis/ostriches, and VENUsaur who looks more like a rafflesia than a venus flytrap, and infernape who is clearly a monkey, etc.

Pure Electric would be totally fine, but I'm quite keen on the idea of it being Electric/Normal.

In my mind if they made a cheetah, it would have the highest base speed stat of all pokémon, with medium attacking stats and absolute shit defense stats. I'm talking like base 30/40. This thing should be paper.

So since it dies in one hit to everything anyway, the fighting weakness wouldn't be a problem. The Ghost immunity would be a vague plus but mostly I think it'd make sense if it got STAB on Extremespeed.

Cheetahs do need to rest after bursts of speed or they risk exhaustion.
