How about we give them a Fairy-type variant of the Kamehame--I mean Hyper Beam? Japan loves puns, and that's a biggie.

Or a HA that changes Hyper Beam to their primary type? Throw in some kind of recharge-affecting Power Herb, and it could see some niche use.

The Tapus are fine as is, but some new toys to play with would be appreciated. Being among the only viable Hyper Beam users might count.

I'll admit the Pokemon community cares too much about Smogon, but who really cares about what other people play on? How does it affect you?

Yes, Nintendo formats are more accessible nowadays because breeding, IVs and EV have been streamlined, but official double wifi battles are laggy as shit in Gen 7. I've been into VGC for as long as it's existed, but you need the patience of a saint to play the official format nowadays. I'd much rather play on a simulator.

Bulu is proabably the most flexible of the Tapus. Band, SD, Bulk Up, Assvest, SubSeed, even Scarf if you need a reliable Chomp and Greninja check. Bulu has it all. It would kill for a 5th moveslot though. I wish I can run both Wood Hammer and Horn Leech on the SD set for instance. Or Stone Edge,Megahorn, and Superpower on the Band set as both Horn Leech and Wood Hammer should be staples.
