sheer force, still pissed blaziken gets speed boost while swampert gets damp

also battle armour is fine even if it doesn't do all that much, I just think it needs an alternative to emergency exit, which itself is an interesting gimmick but it severely limits what golisopod can can do

Almost ANYTHING would be better than Emergency Exit. First Impression abuse isn't enough of a justification to rely on it, especially since Golisopod's slow speed means it'll probably have its ability activate before it can do much.

if you don't know solid bone does not absorb impact... at all
any medium to hard hit actually would have killed the animal
and more realistically we should get brave bird/head smash areodactyl but nintendo is scared of buffing anything

How about a unique ability which adds some extent of power to priority moves? It fits, seeing that Golisopod runs of Priority moves.

I think Regenerator would work well for Swampert as well since the creature the Mudkip line is based on (the Axolotl) is known for regenerating lost body parts. And it would help Swampert's more defensive sets.
