I got a Torrent Greninja over the GTS just now and was gnna trade it for the fire type Kalos starter, but that Pokemon is so worthless I dont even remember its name

I don't like its design, especially the whole tongue scarf thing.
It also has two of my least favorite types, dark and water.
And as you said, the fact that Gamefreak favors it over the other starters annoys me as well (case in point, ash greninja).

Water is a pretty based Type. Still, I like Greninja and still think they went in a poor direction with the design
