when will my injector return from the war...

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, but here goes.
Years ago, when hgss was new, I was one of those action replay kiddies who loved to use the walk through walls cheat. I broke my save by talking to the GTS lady directly above her instead of below her across the desk, and I could never exit, because it froze when it tried loading the area, and now shows nothing but a black screen with no sound upon loading.
I've had an r4i save dongle for awhile, and I've only gotten around to fixing it now. I tried using PKHeX to edit my character's y coordinates down by three, but that didn't work and I'm not quite sure what to do.
How do I fix this issue?

All right, I've finally installed CFW, and hit a snag.

The QR patch requires that you run a .exe file to patch your code.bin...but I'm on a Mac. Is there any other way to patch your code.bin?

Well, the payload will likely be updated in a few days, fixing the problem with homebrew on 11.3. As for the Luma codes/Homebrew CIAs, those should work unless a future update screws them up as well, but you'd likely end up hearing about it beforehand on here or in hbg

What does turning a Pokemon shiny through powersaves do exactly? Does it alter the bytes enough to make it illegal in pkhex? Does it just change the id? I'm a stickler for legality and my 3ds is fully updated. My saving grace is that I have a powersaves, but if even one thing is off legally about the pokemon I dont want it. What do?

Apologies for blogposting, but I have a relaxing ritual where I breed Pokémon with good stats and egg moves, Wonder Trade a bunch of them and repeat the cycle with any cool Pokémon I get from Wonder Trade.

My luck has been hot garbage recently and I haven't had an interesting Pokémon in about two weeks. I'm considering just generating one using SuMoHax and breeding it from there.
