That would be cool. I'm personally hoping that if we get new Kanto games we'll get a sequel, though. Or both. I wouldn't mind getting remakes and then a sequel. I don't know why gf doesn't just cover all of the games that need sequels one gen and make that gen longer than normal. We don't have to be confined to the main games/follow ups and/or remakes. We should be able to, say, get both Kanto and Sinnoh remakes this gen. There's nothing stopping them, it would be easier on them, and it would give them more time to craft more mons and a beyter game for the next gen.

A sequel that exists IN Kanto. All added evolutions for Kantomons added to the dex, the Johto mons that you can find in Kanto, and some other, choice mons from other regions, some with Kanto forms, potentially.

I'd rather they go full remake, and improve the story, redesign levels and cities, add in the opposite gender PC as another character in the story, such as a 2nd rival who picks the remaining starter, and other such improvements.
