It's really no worse than any other sweeper that gets 1 shot and requires something like focus sash or the likes to do more. Both STABS are great, however there is some loss due to the overlapping of SE to Dragon.

Anyway in my experience alolatales is pretty great. Aurora Veil + Light Clay is awesome, and if it out speeds (and survives the first hit) it can potentially sweep pretty damn well

Also in singles freeze-dry is a great option because if your hail dies it doesn't matter and you can OHKO a lot of water types. RIP Gyarados.
