Running protect on every mon in doubles is waste of slot.
I don't have Protect on any of my mons, But I do Use Oranguru with that ability that protects him from friendly fire.

I think I hate Protect in Doubles more than I hate Stealth Rock in Singles.

Stealth Rock has more and better counterplay.

Moves that beat Protect have terrible distribution and some of them even take two turns to take effect unless you want to waste your item slot.
