I like Mega-V for Thick Fat and Fighting/Fairy resistance, but if your team is in desperate need for Ground resist/needs a Knock Off user/switch out a lot, then consider Tangrowth. Both have their good uses.

also another ground resist that hasn't been mentioned yet is celebi, 100 base hp and def and multiple means of recovery (leech seed, recover, giga drain, natural cure for status)

also venusaur doesn't even resist ground because it's part poison
