Alright, /vp/.
You're my last hope.
I recently bought a preowned New 3DS after my original model 3DS stopped working. In order to get a help ticket from Nintendo to allow a system transfer, I need the serial number for my N3DS, which is missing its sticker.
Every guide I've found online only talks about original 3DSes, so they're no help.
You guys have never let me down before. Can you help me figure out how to find the serial number?
not a clue but bump anyway!

he went through the effort of taking off the sticker? you're sure? the N3DS's sticker is under the lower faceplate. i think it may be under the battery, i don't remember
There's a way to do it if you hack the system and install CFW. When you have cfw, dump secureinfo_a with decrypt9 and open it in a hex editor. Your serial number should be at the bottom

Nothing under the lower faceplate or the battery (unless I have to pull the whole thing apart, which I'm unwilling to do as I may have to return it and get a brand-new model)
The UPPER faceplate has a sticker with something that looks like a serial number and I've emailed that off to Nintendo, but I dunno if it's the right serial. I've told them as much.
I just want muh Bank mons.

And extra thanks to you, too. Looks like I won't have to go that far, but I appreciate having the info if I ever do need it!
Once again, /vp/ is the best board.
