What's the trick for drawing pokemon?
I can draw humans (kinda) but I always get stuck when trying to draw the pokemon, especially gen 4 and 5 ones.
Post a human.
The answer most draw friends will give you is to keep practicing and you'll eventually get better at it...and stick with more simple designs. This is an assumption on my part since I lack any kind of skills.

At least you can draw humans. I don't even know where to start.

Finding their basic body shapes and proportions. Most are made of simple shapes anyone can draw. You just have to break them down, then add the details.

Welp, I guess trying to start with Reshiram and Zekrom was a bad idea.
Still, it's frustrating not managing to draw my favorites.

Post pokemon drawings. I guess the "key" is that most pokemon are made up of basic shapes like circles, triangles, etc.
>tfw I can draw pokemon just fine, no matter which angle or pose
>can only draw humans in a sideview, frontview or 3/4 view, not from above or below
>now I end up drawing most pokemon in a 3/4 view as well
Fuck, I need to fix this problem somehowas well as my sameface except with bodies
