Oh no, with the switch being portable I don't see the need for a 3ds successor/new portable console. Hopefully it's just a switch that plays only weaker games that the normal switch can also play. I'm not buying both the switch and whatever this new portable is on launch, so I'm going to wait and see which one is getting Pokemon and buy that. I was going to buy a switch when splatoon 2 comes out, but if switch doesn't get Pokemon and the 3ds successor does then I'm going to wait for the inevitable switch price drop and buy the $200 Pokemon machine on launch instead.
