I asked my friend to trade me a bunch of shitmons back-and-forth and one of the shitmons he sent me was a Stunfisk that ended up not going back to him at the end of our trade chain.

Like two weeks later I was going through my boxes moving stuff around and I noticed that the Stunfisk he'd traded me as filler was actually shiny.

"Hey, the Stunfisk you traded me a while back, did you not want that back? It's shiny."

But! The little flat fish grew on him and he told me months later that he solo'd most of the Elite Four with Stunfisk.
