I play plenty of Games besides Pokemon and Ea Sport Games like Fifa are miles better than shit like Fire Emblem and stuff. Look at the sales and you see that many people agree with me

That depends on how you look at it. If you wanted a game that was overly serious or focused more on topics of environmentalism or religion like the previous games, then you're bound to be upset. This game was easy on it's story and didn't take itself too seriously. The new team was not over complicated either, just a bunch of idiot gang members being idiot gang members. I like that.

I want new Pokemon games to be good, and I avoid /vp/ during release hype because I don't want to spoil myself. I'm not deluding myself by saying S/M were the best Pokemon games ever. They're not. They're decent by the series' standards, but nowhere near the quality of other, better games in the series like Crystal, Emerald, HG/SS, and B/W2.

What are you talking about? Fire Emblem is niche compared to games like Fifa, because Fifa is a shit soccer game that even your granddad probably owns. Besides, remember the 2012 Fifa fiasco? Fifa '12 on the Wii was quite literally Fifa '11, as in they took Fifa '11, added in a couple of new rosters, and told the marketing team to slap the 2012 label on it. That's pretty despicable, and doesn't much lead me to believe that Fifa could ACTUALLY be a good game franchise, but rather the customer base is simply too stupid to differentiate a good game with a bad one.

eh. SM had stuff that I did not like (linearity, cutscenes, lacking but not terrible postgame), but also did many things well (SOS, decent difficulty, League, Refresh being actually useful). Not my favourite gen but there has been worse games in the series.
