GF decides next fossil duo will be Rock/Poison and Rock/Fairy,

The rock/fairy one should basically be an ancient version of Clefairy.
Think Clefable/Gengar except a rock version.

There's a type of therapsid (proto-mammal) that was venomous, so maybe something like that? Looks like a dog/lizard hybrid, make it a fast and hard-hitting glass cannon.

Keeping with the proto-mammal theme, base it on this fucking thing and make it a tanky cleric

Rock/Fairy - Megaloceros. Basically mini Xerneas.

Rock/Poison - Megalania. A giant komodo dragon, more or less. Ideally it would have something like Merciless while being a strong, slow, bulkymon.

As far as I know gf likes to keep the fossils to around the same time period most of the time. Gen1 is an exception, but I still tried to go along with it.
