Except that gen 1 glitches were helpful, so SM is the worst offender.

G1 had ~80, with varying degree of accessibility (some were only on certain versions or you had to go out of your way to find them) and noticeability (some were minor/graphical)
G2 had ~20.
G3 had similar to G2.
G4 had like G2 and G3 put together.
G5 had even more, but still nowhere as much as G1 (~50ish).
G6 had maybe about as much as G4.
