Of those I feel golbat, piloswine, and murkrow are superior to their evolutions.

Crobat- purple is nice but the blue felt fitting, no vampire fangs sucks.

Mamoswine- the lack of the littke tuffs of hair covering its eyes makes it less cute and charming then its earlier prevolutions.

Honchkrow- ignores the witch aesthetic of murkrow and goes for a mobster look. Not terrible but lacks the sillier charm of murkrow.

I love Dusknoir but it really didn't do much other than be Dusclops with attack and now with evolite, what's the point of Dusknoir? I felt like Scizor was meant to be stand alone because of its stats and it looking nothing like Sycther but made it an evolution to show off the trading with items gimmick even more.
I don't actually hate any of the gen IV evolution's, how ever, at first was seeing Ryhorn, Magmar, Electibuzz, Porygon 2 evolve when they don't look like middle stages to me, same for Blissy with Gen II, however I am glad they have them because power creep.

As a lot of people mentioned, Crobat, Honchkrow, Dusknoir, and Mamoswine kinda stray from the design direction of their pre-evos. On top of those and the evos I outright dislike I feel as if we should've gotten a proper Porygon 3 as a split from 2. I've also begun to sympathize with people who think Kingdra could be better, though I still like it a lot.
