Most of those were fringe cases (rare berries, mythicals especially) that were released like that in the first place and also only involved a simple one time download.

This is many entirely seperate forms of a popular group of Pokemon that were introduced just one/two games ago where they had no such limitation on obtaining them.

Also as a Gardevoirfag this shit is awkward as fuck. If I send my Gardevoir to Gen 7 right now it's useless until Gardevoirite is released because it has Hyper Voice, but if I delete Hyper Voice I can't reteach it later because I can't transfer back to ORAS for the tutor.

They have never restricted items necessary for form change. XY still had fusion splicers and drives. Every game since Deoxys was introduced has the meteorite. Every game has had Relic song/Secret Sword tutors since introduced. Gracideas are in everything since Platinum

You could find any wild Pikachu on RSE onwards carrying Light Ball. Hell, only with Light Ball you could be able to breed Volt Tackle to Pichu. So no, even if it was distributed, you could get the Light Ball by just playing.

Sawsbuck's seasonal forms. You can only get the other three seasons by transferring them up from Gen 5. Otherwise, any and all bred Deerling/Sawsbuck will only have their Spring form showing.
