Someone traded me a level 100 6 IVs HA Larvitar on GTS and I'm wondering if it's injected (the thing has a timid nature?!?!).

Do Pokemon with HA, egg moves and near perfect IV's lose their worth if they're in regular Pokéballs? I remember one guy turning down a trade just because all of my pokémon are in regular pokeballs.
