Predictions about the future of Pokémon and some mysteries introduced in recent games:

- ultra beasts are just weird pokemon from a dark cave and will never be revisited or mentioned again
- mega evolutions are just battle forms that some pokemon have, there will be no new ones introduced and the concept will never be expanded
- z-crystals are just limit breaks, there will never be any new ones introduced in future games
- mohn is just a guy living on a raft; somebody at gamefreak accidentally used his name in a line of dialogue elsewhere, he's not connected to lusamine
- Magearna is magic
- Necrozma is magic and not connected to Solgaleo or Lunala
- no new ultra best will ever be introduced, Arceus is not an ultra beast and also he's a magic deer
- gamefreak will introduce some new gimmicky but interesting concept in generation 8 that shows potential but it will be subsequently abandoned and forgotten
- hms will return in future games
- evs and ivs will be hidden in future games, revealing them confuses players who do not understand what these stats mean
- there will be even fewer ways to influence evs and ivs
- zubat will get shadow tag as its regular ability
