Hapu is a better ground specialist than Giovanni. Molayne feels a bit better than Steven mainly because all his team is made of steel types and doesn't fucking use an offensive Carbink.

My favorite NPC fight in the game so far was against Nanu before you go off to catch Guzzlord. Really good and intense battle.

Worst was Nihilego-Lusamine. Boring as fuck and piss easy even with a bunch of free boosts to her team.

I like Guzma, but Bugsy's Scyther was a bigger challenge relative to their respective points in the game, not to mention his rematch and PWT teams are harder than any of Guzma's.

Maybe i just had a terrible team then (and also never used refresh or exp share) but i remember the first guzma fight and the one before lusamine being somewhat challenging. Golisopod's First Impression will wreck your shit if you're not expecting it and his Masquerain is surprisingly strong

Meanwhile Bugsy's Scyther can wipe your entire team... if you leave it power Fury Cutter like a retard. Or you can just one shot it with Rock Throw or two shot with most of the other mons

Yeah, I'll give you that. I was surprised with how much damage it did to my Muk. Thing is, the AI in SM is atrocious, so he just kept using Swords Dance until Emergency Exit procced. Hell, his Ariados was more of a threat in all of his encounters. Can't agree with you on his Masquerain being tough, though; two widely resisted moves don't really do you much favors.

Also, I'm talking about HG/SS Bugsy. STAB U-Turn works wonders when you have two free switches in the form of Kakuna and Metapod. Along with Technician boosted Quick Attack, it makes Bugsy one of the hardest early gyms imho, next to Lenora.

I don't know mang I just like Pryce. None of the ice specialists really had any stand-out teams from what I saw, so I just picked the one I liked the most.

Hah no, Wulfric is easily the worst.

Platinum had the best specialists with the Elite 4, and every gym leader except Byron and Gardenia.

Also to answer your question, I'm going to say that Roxie is the best poison type specialist and Koga is the worst. At least Janine is qt and didn't fucking kill my Butterfree in my first nuzlocke.
