I doubt they'll rehash Red's story. He's already a canon character now. They'll have you start as Leaf or some Red-lite character and Lillie might bump in on you during your adventure

I'd love for her to make a cameo in Kanto, but I think a sequal with just Kanto in it would be boring. Why hasn't GF done something like they did in Silver and Gold with two regions in later gens? It would be nice if they made a game with two regions again, or if that's too big, a part of a region, like a island from Alola region for example.
