I'm going to get shit on for making this thread but I have to ask anyway.
What's the proper way to hack a Pokemon? Like when it comes to stats and shit, is there anything I have to pay extra attention to? I hacked my 3ds so I wanna try this out.

No. Just make sure everything is legal, or at least if you want to use it online.
I am a bit confused, do you mean to make sure they pass? One thing i forgot my first time hacking was changing the egg moves. If you give a pokemon an egg move put the move in it's possible egg moves, won't pass otherwise.
