Yes, right now it's on a daily event where it will give you 50 gems once a day, get 300 and you can buy a pack of 3 boosters that have a EX figure, those are usually really good.

You have to collect each figure in the evolution separately. You add them together using the blue dot in the deck editing.

Evolving is a per-battle thing, you start the match at the lowest evolution and each time you KO another pokemon it evolves.

You can use any stage of an evolution on its own, but evolving them gives you +10 attack/+1 star for your attacks.

For example: If you have Haunter in your deck, it will have "Night Shade 20" and "Eerie Light *". If you instead start with Ghastly, the evolved Haunter will have "Night Shade 30" and "Eerie Light **"

You should try to pull an emolga (pref) or at least a decent 3 move mon. Emolga is nice because if you raise the area of its volt switch through evolution you can play turn 2 to switch to your Salamance. So you can basically get a 3 move on any poke without having to wait and use a switch plate.

Still crafting my team. Ho-oh and Lugia are fucking monsters. I'm winning the matches only using them and Keldeo because I'm battling people without EXs yet. Keldeo is useful but most because of it being able to move 3 tiles, its ability is shitty if you have a Dark-type on your team (I have a Tyranitar, but still had not the chance of using it), so I don't know if I'll mantain it on the team. Since I still didn't use Tyranitar, don't know if it's good, its Earthquake may be good or not.
