What are some good sets for Garchomp? I'm gonna take one into the battle tree.
Stealth rock, toxic, dragon tail and earthquake

It's fuckin Garchomp son, there's no such thing as a bad nature, (obviously not true,) Garchomp can do anything.
Decent special attack, solid bulk without even investing, (thus great bulk when invested,) and obviously great Attack + that fuck-100-Speed-Pokemon speed tier.
Defensive sets like to boost physical defense while holding Rocky Helmet and having it's Hidden Ability Rough Skin.
Sand Veil will also get you some mileage in the Tree as the AI highly prioritizes weather effects, of course Sand Veil is situational since it is conditional of weather and doesn't always trigger.
Adamant for max power, Jolly for max speed. The latter is usually better.
Outrage/Earthquake/Fire Fang/Swords Dance is standard offensive move choice.
Swap Fire Fang for Flamethrower if physical bulks such as Ferrothorn are causing you problem. Fire Blast's 85 accuracy is too little for the Battle Tree. Consistency is key.
Scarf Outrage

Earthquake and three filler moves. That's literally all you need.
Too many fairies around to run outrage imo. I run dragon claw on mine so I don't get locked into a dragon move and get fucked by one of the tapus. If you're just fucking around in the Battle Tree then you can basically run anything with Earthquake

A pretty generic set is:
Garchomp @ ????
Jolly | 252 Speed, 252 Atk, 4 HP
Rough Skin
-Dragon Claw
-Earthquake
-Poison Jab
-??????
The question marks are because I honestly don't know. Garchomp is super versatile. You could put another attacking move in the fourth slot and give it an assault vest for extra Special bulk, you could give it swords dance and a lum berry to avoid getting gimped by burn, it's really good overall. You don't even need to use any of what I said as it gets plenty more options. very solid mon
