But before that happens, no, it totally isn't. I'd argue anything from the first two gens is safe from being the MOST forgettable just cuz die hard fans like me have gotten used to them for so many years.

MOST forgettable is probably something like Cherrim or Zebstrika. An early game shitmon from 1-3 gens ago.

The most forgettable Pokemon Eevee made is probably Leafeon.
Sylveon is still a new gimmick, Espeon and Umbreon are actually good, Flareon is a meme, Jolteon and Vaporeon have OG status, Glaceon has the bonus of being the cutest which just leaves Leafeon.

Finneon/Lumineon is probably the most forgettable. It's entirely possible to get through DPP without even having a chance at seeing it, since you have to fish in a few specific places to even get a chance of seeing it, and I think there's actually no NPCs that use it.

Each Pokemon in the Sinnoh dex barring legendaries and Rotom (and maybe one other thing) are used by at least one trainer. It's so that you can obtain the National Dex without having to train or catch a bunch of stuff.

No Pokémon is truly forgettable, because there's always someone who likes it. However, I think these are some of the most forgettable pokemon:
>Chimecho - extremely rare in RSE, rare in other gens. I don't think there is an in-game trainer who uses one.
>Huntail/Gorebyss - both got zero attention in their debut generation and were already forgotten by Gamefreak in gen IV.
>Phione - event-only, egg-only, appeared exactly once in a filler episode of the anime.
>Heatmor - didn't appear until Victory Road in BW, barely made an appearance outside the games, is (as I've been told) worthless in competitive.

I wouldn't really say there are any forgettable Gen I/II mons - at least not amongst people old enough for 4chan - and Gen VI and VII are too recent for pokemon to be called forgettable already.
