Salandit with eviolite literally has worse bulk than salazzle (252+ SpA Abomasnow Blizzard vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Eviolite Salandit: 40-48 (32.5 - 39%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after hail damage, compared to 252+ SpA Abomasnow Blizzard vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Salazzle: 46-54 (32.1 - 37.7%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after hail damage). Was a defense stat higher than fucking 40 too much to ask for? Or an HP stat that breaks 50? Or, if they didn't want to do that, a speed stat of 85 or above? Or some of the neat support moves that salazzle gets but salandit doesn't (namely encore and disable)? Fuck. Salazzle's OK, but I really, really want salandit to work, and he just doesn't. It hurts.

At the least it has adaptability and with a draco plate it can kill near anything except fairies, which it has STAB sludge wave for, and steel type. Its not phenomenal but it does its job well enough.

But i kind of like the thematic idea of it slowly regaining strength once unsealed. The only problem is, its unsealed strength just isnt worth wasting 5 turns to keep it alive with no recovery, as it has no way of boosting and is outclassed by huge amounts of mons offensively if they get off a single Swords or Dragon Dance, which takes just one turn.

Maybe introduce an item that suppresses abilities? Give him Skill Swap? Unbound Regigigas Forme as a not-Mega with a new ability?
