If your 3ds and your computer are on the same network, you can install an ftp server program to the 3ds (one comes with the homebrew menu, iirc), and use filezilla(or your ftp client of choice) to connect to it from your computer and transfer files that way without having to pop the backplate off.

Has anyone here tried using pokebank to move pokemon from a .cia game onto a legit cartridge game? I was planning on sending all my stuff over to moon when bank came out but I have a .cia of XY/ORAS and a physical copy of Moon. I'm worried there will be some complication with the nintendo ID or whatever bullshit comes with .cia games when trying to use bank. all the pokemon I have are legit though. no injections or anything.

Go to PokeHex and click the options menu, click the MisteryGift options and search for Greninja, it will give you one with the ribbon and what not. It doesn't have to be 100 but you can't change the IV and I assumed you wanted one at level 100 to use bottle caps on it. You can't change the name because is not "yours" and there is some numbers it needs to have because its Ash's or whatever. Anyway, with the MysteryGift menu you get one with all of that, so you just need to change its level and attacks I suppose.

No, the max amount of EVs in still locked to 510 and the IVs to 31. I just tried to make a Rockruff to test it with 252 in each stat and it wouldn't allow me to create it. I'd post a picture but my Puush is being a prick for some reason.

So I actually gave my Riolu 999 stats and Extreme Evoboost.

You have to check the hacked stats box, and set the Pokemon.
If you view the Pokemon after you set it, it'll recalculate the stats.

IVs and EVs are still capped, but it's nbd.

My Riolu leveled up and that seemed to reset his stats back to normal, but he still has Extreme Evoboost.
