Honestly move distribution in sm is my biggest problem with the game. I love a lot of these new Pokemon but none of them learn anything good and my team couldn't use practically ANY tms throughout. My Araquanid was still using Bubblebeam until halfway through the Elite Four when it finally got Liquidate.

The problem is Flare Blitz has recoil, but Incineroar just sucks. Bad defensive typing and no recovery hurts defensive sets, bad speed and not particularly good coverage makes it no good offensively. It's just bad.

I found Flame Charge to be great in game for the speed boosts alone. I actually dropped Flare Blitz for it cause the recoil was too much.

I'll pick up blitz again if he gets drain punch via tutors though. Bulk Up/Drain Punch/Blitz/Lariat seems like it'll be useful in NU or whatever

Eveyone always forgets you can use Fire Pledge for the mid-game on Torracat, who has mixed offensive NFE stats. It's always "Torracat didn't kill Totem Lurantis with Z-Fire Fang" but with Z-Fire Pledge your odds are better. Spatk doesn't even go up when Torracat evolves into Incineroar. Incineroar wound up being a great Dark type but lacked in places as a Fire type.

Shout outs to Flame Charge as well, pretty useful.

A lot of things come too late in the main game. I love Crabrawler, but I won't be able to use Crabominable until close to the end? and I have to go to the move reminder to get its good past moves? no me gusta.
