Went in completely blind to DP, ended up with a team of Empoleon, Staraptor, Luxray, Lopunny, Manaphy, and Palkia. Still one of my favorite teams ever

Last time dp. I stopped looking for sm News when they revealed starter mid evo. At that point I was 100% sure luchalitten and the others were real so I knew which starter to choose, didnt want to spoil anything else. It's hard to lose the habit though even if it was just for a few months

Black and White 1. Went in completely blind, so fucking blind that I didn't even know the games existed until less than a month before western release.

X and Y, completely blind, only thing I knew was that it was 3d.

Then again with Sun and Moon, Outside of Red and Blue getting spoiled for me on /v/(which I completely forgot about while going thru the game and got a pleasant reminder at the Battle Tree) and the first form of the starters I went into these games as blind as I could, and as still disappointed

I would love to but it's not gonna happen so long as I'm on this board. The last time I did it was in Emerald, but had the experience of Blue and Silver too. Idk if you can call Blue a blind run at all though considering the anime follows the same pattern of gyms etc, but it's not like we had actual game spoilers and leaks back then.

DESU the spoilers and leaks make the game sort of lame, and the hype raises people's expectations so high that they're somewhat disappointed. I really need to stay off this board for good at some point. I mean, it's not like anyone actually gains anything from being here. Pretty sure the only thing we get from this board is more autistic, petty and stupid anyway.

Went in blind in BW and XY, both great runs and I regularly switched around my team as I kept encountering cooler mons. Tried to do the same with SM, but since Nintendo has now grown into the habit of releasing every siNGLE INFORMATION then plenty of things were spoiled for me. Hope they do less revealing next gen, but I can only assume they won't which sucks since I don't want to be a hermit for months.

I went completely blind for Gens 1-6, it wasn't til SM that I finally stuck around for leaks. I regret it. It's way more fun going in blind.
