When they need to make a trip to the local river or watering hold, lounges of Helioptile prefer to do it in the company of a Hippotas. They larger Pokemon's bulk helps them feel comfortable, and the sand they can call forth allows them possible avenues of escape. THe Hippotas generally appreciate the extra pairs of eyes for predators, and the electric shocks for territorial water pokemon.

An old Alolan saying states that a Salazzle's scent could even wake the dead. It is though this saying is based on the rare migrations of Gastly from Memorial Hill to Wela Volcano.

Schools of Finneon and Tynamo rarely meet and most never interact. There have been few reports that when they do, Finneon initiate by attempting to shoot them down with Water Gun. The Finneon that survive never attempt it again.
