The Bulbasaur line is a classic example of a "generic" evolutionary line that is not poorly-designed. A design's merit shouldn't be determined by the evolutionary line it belongs to, and evolutionary lines that have a simple, logical succession (such as the Bulbasaur line) aren't inherently bad.

This thread wasn't specifically referring to Litten, but it is the biggest offender. The kneejerk reaction of automatically shitting on a design because of the "generic" buzzword needs to stop.

I think Samurott just needs new offical artwork that showcases it bending its legs. Its legs don't even look functional to support its upper body until you see it motion from the models. Its official artwork doesn't seem pleasant when trying to make a first impression.
