Because as you should realize from the FE Direct itself Stars is fake and the 3DS isn't dead yet. Get ready for either RGB or DP remakes announced in fall for 3DS. Or nothing this year, SM2 next year, and Gen 8 on Switch in 2019.

Why would there be "hype" now? LITERALLY everyone has already bought the game, liked it and has gotten comfy with it. There doesn't have to be any more hype for it.
As for the next game, it'll come later. You're not going to get a new announcement just 2 months after a main game.

I waited 2 years for SM because I didnt want another ORAS. I still have no postgame and I got a game where everything was made harder to obtain or its a downgrade of what we had before, for no fucking reason at all.

The whole fact that people already want the 3rd version tells how lackluster this anniversary game is.
