Ultra Dialga/Palkia/Giratina, alternate forms caused by Ultra Space counterparts of their orbs.

Their stats increase, and they create a permanent version of Trick Room (Dialga), Magic Room (Palkia), and Wonder Room (Giratina) that lasts as long as they are in battle.

The orbs also act as Z-crystals powering up their signature moves.

Not impossible with ride 'mons. It's just that Sun and Moon didn't have any for whatever reason

It's fine when the HM moves are also just good moves, but then you get rock smash, cut, defog, whirlpool, etc.
Also the existence of multiple water HMs in every region that has them is annoying because you either need a slave for the other or you need to teach your water type both surf and waterfall, wasting move slots effectively.
Also HM distribution limits your options for a main-game team. Go try and complete hoenn without having a water type on your main team.

Ride pager would eliminate any need for slaves

Honestly the solution to this shit is to start having some key items to replace the crappier TMs, then we're left with decent moves like surf, fly, strength, etc. Maybe even buff Cut, Rock Smash, and so-on.

Cut, Strength, and Rock Climb would all be nearly-identical in battle
It would feel like you're wasting move slots unless you give the three normal type HMs really silly secondary effects that differentiate them

Surf and Waterfall are already basically the same move save for their physical/special type
Similar case to the normal-type HMs, but there's really no solution here.

for that they'd need to rework a lot of stuff.
first the frozen status. it's either broken if you can get an effective way to proc or useless because it's too luck based.
it needs to be completely reworked. make it , for instance, halve your defence, the same way a burn halves attack, making them counterparts. a freeze move like wow, twave, toxic EXCLUSIVE to ice types with maybe very few exceptions. that way ice type physicall attackers wouldn't be the mememons they are now
in attack ice is fine but defence wise it sucks. one resistance to itself is unreasonable. but to change it you'd have to rework other types. it could have been set straight when fairy was introduced but GF can't correct one thing without fucking two more

I mean really that's like saying flamethrower should stop existing because it invalidates bug and grass type. If a 90-ish BP move with decent distribution is enough to kill the usability of a type then perhaps consider it's already in a really bad spot that needs to be addressed.
