I tried to replay Pokemon Sun but holy fuck the cutscenes are so annoying.
They were too much the first time around but at least it was new. Replaying the game feels like a giant nightmare-ish slog. These people wont stop talking and there's no skip button
Even plot heavy gen 5 doesnt feel as bad, neither does gen 4. Gen 6 was quick like a breeze with the tutorials and as much Shauna and co are useless they dont hang around your neck all the time like Hau and Lillie
Ugh i dislike this game more and more. If it wasnt for new Pokes and no HMs it would be probably my least favourite one
Shit post game and plot holes dont help either

I agree. I'll also add in the pain in the ass training method that replaced the super convenient bags and berries of the other 3DS games. Waiting days and having to chase berries/festival plaza crap just to train anything up is insane. Also no, I will not go full autistic and memorize what each and everyone pokemon trains up when defeated. Thanks.
It almost makes me miss ORAS and I hated that game.

It's also very annoying. Even Monster Rancher let you directly train up monster stats without going through lame obfuscating hoops. Making this basic feature difficult is a huge step backwards for Pokemon.
