I updated the code.bins to the 1.1 versions although for now, the only code.bins files in the mega download are for no lines with qr injection and unlimited qr code scanning. Missing clean bins of both and both with just the qr injection with unlimited scanning. Will likely update it later.

Actually that probably won't work. I remember changing it to not being an egg at all and being caught where you normally capture Magnemite at the normal level. Did not fix it.

It should work fine on older lumas, you'll just need to use patched code.bins instead of code.ips...

Simple, people don't know how to use extract their games to get the decrypted cia to get the code.bins and use smpatcher so they decided to switch to using the ips method. I'm using the ips method since I'm on mobile and can't launch exe files. Either way, the op is outdated and there's already a new one written with pastebin to the updated 1.1 code.bins

you were already able to inject with only homebrew, you are following the guide to get CFW, who is way superior at only having homebrew, now you can inject normally with savedate, install programs using FBI, qr injections and you will never lose homebrew

so I'm trying to get QR Injection to work. I read the pastebin, downloaded the pre-patched codebins from >>31433404 and placed them in correct directory. I'm running the hourly build for Luma and rather than "Enable region/language emu. and ext. .code" I have the option to "Enable game patching" which I assumed was the same thing, but the codebins still don't work for me.

I didn't know that. I'll update the pastebin then to include that. I'll keep the code.bins in either way considering people don't know how to make them. Already made another pastebin with the steps to make them but not sure how accurate it is. I'll post it in a bit if I can find it.

I just downgraded to the normal version for Luma, and currently have pic related set up. I checked to make sure "Enable region/language emu. and ext. .code" was selected on Luma, which it is. Unfortunately, I'm still getting an error whenever I attempt to boot Sun.

Hey, might i add a suggestion for the sticky?
Make sure to have a #00 Phillips head around if you've have a N3Ds, there's no way to access your SD card without one.
Ive been using PKSM since it's latest update, it's as likely as PkHex to end up with an illegal mon, provided you aren't an absolute retard job doesn't check if a move is an Egg move. Oh, and it automatically sets the met location, and have their own trainer memories, so it's easier in some ways.
Provided the Pokémon is legal, the PKSM will assign it the date it was created as it's egg date, and, if it's illegal, it'll be the first of February.
I run every pokemon I make through PkHex afterwards, just to be safe, but it's actually pretty decent at authenticity.
You can also fill out QR requests without downloading any copyrighted material through setting up the wireless transfer feature, then you just open up the QR in PkHex, make any changes necessary (looking at you Mega-stone beggars, seriously, you can read, but not the fucking part that says they aren't tradeable) to it, then just send it to your box, easy peesy.
