My best guess is that TTar is a decent switch-in to tapu lel's psychic, I don't think lel would enjoy taking a pursuit from TTar even if it's neutral damage. And if they try to use energy ball, I thin sand stream will lessen the damage.

I'd say run the hell away from tapu bulu and be wary of fini, but tapu koko would probably pussy out since he doesn't want to eat an EQ

T-tar lost a lot of relevance since talon got hit.
Pheromosa also wipes the floor with it.

TTar is still pretty good. Does fine vs Koko, has rocks, can still Pursuit trap. When the meta settles Ttar should rise again.

Actually, Y is the most common Charizard to see Tyranitar paired with. Removing the sand is good because you will get to reset the turns, same with Char's sun, and they have better offensive sinergy than with X
