Sacred fire has higher bp than flamethrower, higher accuracy than fire blast, and will be burning things 50% of the time, which is the key factor that would buff celesteela if it got it.

A physical celesteela with EQ, sacred fire and heavy slam (4th move being leech seed or autotomize) works on paper. If you switch marowak in, EQ. If you switch any other physical attacker, sacred fire and a likely burn.

If my celesteela wasn't more support oriented I'd use it.

Aquaranid is one of the options, yes.

Other options include:
