Aside from Gen 1, Gen 2 was the most innovative and original. It introduced the most changes to the games and battle system. It's the only games to have multiple regions and more than 8 badges.

That makes it more of a Kantococksucker than any other Gen. Gen 2 is trash and can't even stand on its own. The biggest praise for it is that Kanto is in it, just because everyone hates Johto so fucking bad.
