Pokepelago is incredibly useful if you want a specific spread instead of maxing out 252/252/4.

But even infecting pokemon with pokerus, then finding a specific pokemon, then getting your false swiper out of the PC, then initiating an SOS battle is too much effort. All you have to do is throw them in the islands for a couple of nights while you sleep and you can effortlessly ev train 18 pokemon at once

Yeah but Pelago is great for specific EV spreads, and it's passive by nature. It's pretty great especially because regular EV training is worth it with Power Items but they are locked behind BP
