No. Compoundeyes must be alive. They changed it in SM so that fainted Pokemon get sent to the back and lose their effect, different from XY and beforehand where you could just leave the fainted one in front. It will not work so level that Butterfree up so it can take some hits.

I got the Hakamo-o by accident, looking for a Kommo-o since I was too lazy to grind one up 3 levels. 3IV naughty missing Atk, SpD and Def. Wasn't really looking for it but I found a decent set for it and might use it.
Dewpider was on purpose in SOS and has 4IV with just 1 or 2 points under in HP but with pretty bad Def. Lonely nature which is apparently usable according to smogon so I'm happy with it.

They are both good but have different roles. As much as I like Golisopod I don't like its ability whereas Araquanid suited my play style more and thus I fell in love with it even more. + Araquanid hits harder with Liquidation due to its ability resists fire and is immune to burn. Just slap an assvest and you got yourself a hard hitting spdef monster.

I assume every last one of you is using a hacked ditto or ultimately used a hacked ditto to get the two parents you're using.

The baby inherits the hacked dna from the parents and become illegitimate itself from the moment it hatches. Your shiny pokemon are as close to being authentic shinies as ones you could have hacked in 5 seconds because of this.

It's a damn shame. All of your shinies combined are worth less than an authentic legitimate magikarp I caught in my game without cheating. When it loses legitimacy it loses all value.

Get a legitimate shiny. Those are the valuable ones.

Yes, but Shinies are fucked in those games, impossible to hunt in.

If you "find" a Shiny, it will turn into a normal Pokémon once you purify it, before you can send the Pokémon to RSE.

It's MAYBE possible to soft reset purification and try to get a Shiny that way, but it sounds like a pain.

Shadow Pokemon can be shiny in Colosseum. The catch is, if you see it shiny on the trainer's side, there's a chance it won't be once you catch it (there's a rare chance it might stay shiny though). Sometimes when you catch a normal shadow mon, it might turn out to be shiny. The only mons that can't be shiny are Espeon and Umbreon, the Johto starters (unless you encounter them post-game) and Duking's Plusle.

In GoD, your Eevee can be shiny, the mons at the Poke Spots can be SR and encountered shiny (but the sparkle doesn't appear to let you know) and I think Mt. Battle's mons and Duking's trades can be shiny. GoD's shadow moms are fixed to never be shiny.
