But if you've played Darksouls, it's the same but without the exploration and boss battle only

All I can tell you is its a game with monsters that look like animals in an ecosystem and not just cool/scary/cutesy creatures. The gameplay is, as I understand, SoulsBorne like- challenging and strategic. You can't just run in swords flailing. There's a lot of item grinding and crafting and the whole thing is a slow burn and if that's not your style you're not gonna like it. Enjoy this thread for the half hour before it gets deleted.
