Though I assume they would let the big creators like GF know. When asked about Switch, Masuda's comment implied this was the next thing. There's also the thing about making Switch a handheld. There's no need for two handhelds. If they just wanted a home console, they would've made a home console.

Either way, right now, I have no reason to believe there is another handheld Nintendo is working on. If you have any reason why you're so sure, feel free to share and I want might see things differently.

I knew they weren't going to announce a core pokemon game now for the switch but there is a chance they will eventually. I believe the nest core pokemon game will be on the 3DS. After that unless they release a real portable console to follow the 3DS the next core pokemon games will be on the switch.

It all depends on the success of the switch which after the event looks like a 50-50 chance.
