I'm sure it still exists in canon, as for her career, perhaps she's researching whatever Juniper is doing as well so they can feel each other up.

He is the most logical Pokemon researcher. His interest in the bond between Pokemon and humans is based on solid evidence, not a bunch of flowery sentimental stuff like most of the other researchers. I just wish he was around for Megas.

Pretty solid actually. I like the small handful of characters (Ghetsis, Gladion, Colress) that sorta live above the "Everyone's friends, Pokemon are magical friends, let's all be happy!" thing the Pokemon world has going for it.

Anabel is at least a small part of the plot. Can't speak for Grimsley but some other anon said Japanese girls love him so maybe pandering to that market.

My main reason for thinking Colress might of had a bigger part also has to do with his search of maxing out the power of Pokemon. Inventing either Hyper Training or Type:Null seems like something he would be involved with.

You're right- but it's not just Colress. The Battle Tree AI always knows when a move will land a OHKO, and will always prioritize using a move that will OHKO over other damage moves.
